Sitting on the heart of the green side of Söğüt Village yet almost entirely hidden from view, Lagom Söğüt offers a life-style natural yet contemporary.
It celebrates the nature blended into a sensitively landscaped, stone-walled garden that screens it from the road behind. The house is built upon the idea of slow, laid-back summer living, and encourages mindful connection with family, friends and the freedom to exist peacefully in nature.
To create a house that would allow guests to enjoy being outside throughout the day we needed to filter the overwhelming intensity of the climate by providing shade and protection from the elements. The courtyard and veranda becomes the focal point of the house, seamlessly connected to the living room and kitchen volumes, and looking over the pool and gardens beyond.
Designed in respect to the local architectural understanding, stone-walled volume aims to reflect ‘as if it always existed’ idea. White volume that has the main functions gives reference to the elements of the modern architecture.

Söğüt Köy’ün yeşil doğasının kalbinde yer alıp, göz önünden uzakta olan Lagom Evleri, doğal yaşamı çağdaş yaşamın gereklilikleri adapte eder.
Doğanın güzelliğini, hassasça peyzaja ilişerek takdir eden mimari, yöreye özel taş dokulu duvarları ile yol ile olan ilişiği keser.
Genel mimari, yavaş ve rahat yaz yaşamını merkeze alarak, aile ve sosyal çevre ile birlikte doğayla barış içinde varolmaya olanak sağlar. Genel olarak bölgenin iklimsel özelliklerinden kaynaklanan dış mekanlarda yaşam alanı yaratma sıkıntısı, geleneksel mimariye referans vererek avlu ve gölgeleme elemanları kullanılarak aşılmıştır.
